The last time that I was happy/ the first time I ever saw your face
Till visions of ever after/ vanished without a trace
You ghosted me every week day / said you had work to do
You texted me every weekend / "pretty baby, come through"
And that was okay / for about a month or two until one day
I did what I should never do
I searched for your name on Facebook / Twitter, and Instagram too
Scrolled through your activity then I texted you, Baby we're through
I promised myself I'd move on / won't be your plaything no more
And though it's been months since you've gone
I can't close that online door
I don't know why I cry every day I watch you
I don't know why I spy on all that you do
I will stay true / I follow you
I will stay true / I follow you
I tiptoed through every comment, repost, and like on your feed
Did the math to find which coincided and it still didn't quench my need
Then one morning I wake up
and see your new girls face on my screen
You're trying to make me jealous
I can't let you know what I've seen
I don't know why I cry every day I watch you
I don't know why I spy on all that you do
I will stay true / I follow you
I will stay true / I follow you

This is some throwback stuff that your grandmother would have listened to in the mid 60s while necking in the back seat of a Bel air at make out point. This young lady's voice is fantastic, the music is pop perfection and they fit perfectly with Matt Rendon's style of production.Beautiful stuff. fungicide
